Falling for Fall

While the first signs of fall have most people giddy with glee, I go into mourning. Not because I don’t like fall, but because I truly love summer. The blue of the sky. The green of the trees. The warmth of the water. The flowers. The fruits. The fantastic weather.

To me, fall signifies the end of the bounty of summer, and most importantly, paddle boarding. I would spend all day, every day on the water if possible.

So when the first week of September hits, I need a little help falling for fall. Okay. A lot of help, and in case you’re like me, here’s a collection of what makes fall so spectacular to help ease the pain of summer’s end.

What about you? Do you welcome fall with open arms or wish it would hold off a little longer?

  1. Meghan, I wrote literally the opposite of this post today. I am a Fall girl though and through, but I sympathize. It’s always hard to say good-bye to a favorite season. Some of my fondest newlywed moments were during the Fall — beautiful walks outside through the leaves + cozy moments by the fire. :-) Love these photos!

Regards, Robin from The Netherlands :)
